Caroline and Saahil's Wedding
As recommended by many, I'll be arriving in Mumbai for my friend Caroline's wedding on February 25th excited and eager to not only share this special day with her and her soon-to-be husband, but also to discover some of the amazing beauties that this vast country has to offer.
Thursday, February 26th:
- 13:00 - Mendhi mainly reserved for the women, but men are welcome if they please
- 16:00 - Cricket Match at Bombay Gymkhanna for all
- 20:30 - Cocktails at Indigo
Friday, February 27th:
- Day trip to Elephanta Island, which I'm very much looking forward to
- Individuals can do their own tours of the city
Saturday, February 28th:
- 11:00 - Wedding Ceremony at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower
- 12:30 to 16:00 - Lunch and traditional Indian Dandiya Raas
- 19:00 - Dinner reception and dancing
With the hopes of visiting some more of the sights, I've planned to stay in Mumbai an extra day, and leave on March 2nd for... Now, this is where things get tricky.
